This post is inspired from Liewcf.com post " When google goes wrong ". This morning when I open the browser & click for Paultan.org, I found that this blog was wrong, something happen to the server or it database. Below are some the print screen for the evidence.

Proton MPV Photo Unveiled

I believe that all of you will be waiting for Proton MPV for next year (2009). According to Paultan.org, Proton managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said that Proton will be unveiling its new MPV early next year, but declined to reveal any other details about the MPV.

Even how many seats the MPV will have is unknown, but the industry standard for MPVs seem to be either 7 or 11. A 7 seater is more likely as as far as we know Proton doesn’t have a suitable powertrain at the moment to pull 11, but who knows, they might surprise us.

But, supprisingly the Proton MPV real model photos taken from Proton factory at Tanjung Malim already unveiled last week in the CarSTUDIO at LG CNS showroom. Here is one of the photos.

Gen 2 Facelift Baru dengan Enjin CPS dilancarkan di Thailand

Menurut laman web rasmi Proton, Proton Gen 2 dengan facelift terbaru telah dilancarkan di Thailand bersempena pengenalan jenama Proton di negara tersebut baru-baru ini. Model Proton Gen2 ini juga telah diperingkatkan dengan Enjin yang menggunakan sistem CPS (CamProfile Swicthing).

Dengan CPS ini, Proton Gen 2 dikatakan dapat mengeluarkan 125 kuasa kuda pada 6,500rpm dan 150Nm daya kilas pada 4,500rpm berbanding dengan Enjin Campro biasa sebanyak 110 kuasa kuda pada 6,000rpm dan 148Nm daya kilas pada 4,000rpm.

Namun buat masa ini ianya belum dilancarkan dinegara kita. Menurut sumber, Proton akan melancarkan model Gen 2 terbaru ini bersama-sama dengan model terbaru daripada Proton iaitu Proton BLM pada bulan Januari 2008 akan datang. Jadi sama-samalah kita tunggu kemunculannya.

SMART Tunnel Toll - RM2

Works Minister Datuk Seri Samy Vellu has announced that the SMART Tunnel toll rate will be set at RM2 and will be effective from 11:59pm, June 14 2007.

This is actually pretty affordable as speculation among the grassroots have mentioned amounts as high as RM3 or RM4. The RM2 toll is definitely attractive, especially on the route from KL back to Sungei Besi as there is usually no backlog of traffic once you exit onto the Sungei Besi highway.
